Eligibility for this category:

Your company is registered in NZ and meets at least two of the following criteria:

• Founded in NZ
• Global headquarters are in NZ
• At least 20% of your employees reside in NZ
• The manufactured product or manufacturing process originated in NZ or was substantially developed in NZ

Submit Your Entry 

In entering this category:

• You have developed an advanced manufactured product or process that is genuinely innovative and can demonstrate how it’s positioned for future success.
• Your product or process is clearly differentiated from that of your competition.
• Your product or process may include software (such as Industry 4.0) only as an aspect of being integrated into a physical product or process, not as a standalone software product.
• Your company demonstrates innovation in process product features, functionalities, or technologies that set you apart in the Hi-Tech hardware sector.
• You can showcase measurable improvements in efficiency, productivity, sustainability, or quality resulting from your innovative product or process design.
• You can provide evidence of at least one commercial sale (this excludes grants and investment) for the calendar year ending 31 December 2024.
• Upon request, you can supply the judges with evidence to support any claims made in this entry and be able to prove that:
  • The innovation originated in NZ or was substantially developed in NZ
  • Your company owns or has rights to use the IP related to the product or process (if IP is applicable)
